How should a logo be created?

The logo is a graphic element that suggests meanings that provide identity to the brand. A logo can contain the name of the company, a slogan and some objects or figures that serve as reference. Every well-built corporate identity has a logo.

A formal company requires the design of its graphic element, which must be simple, appropriate to the concept of the brand, which lasts over time being easy to remember, so your audience will identify and the positioning will be in less time. The logo must also show the values of the company, be adapted to all communication channels and not admit changes or ambiguity in any of the brand’s products, neither in the online nor offline market.


When building the logo, not only you must define brand concepts, values and products, but also the design components, such as: font, lines, formats and colors. There are many studies on the use of colors and their importance; they have also been applied in the business sector and their results are as follows:

Yellow: It is an optimistic and youthful color. It is used to highlight offers and discounts.

Blue: It transmits honesty, security and trust. It is often used in news and banks.

Orange: It is a cheerful but also an aggressive color. It is effective in creating calls to action.

Black: It transmits elegance and sophistication. It is usually used in luxury products.

Red: It is an intense and striking color. It is often used in clearance sales.

Pink: Depending on the tone, it can be associated with sweetness or mischief. In most cases they are used to promote products aimed at young women.

Green: It transmits balance and is associated with health and nature. It is used in some spaces to create a feeling of relaxation.

Violet: It is considered a mystical and serene color, which invites relaxation. Widely used in beauty products.

It is important to take all of these aspects into consideration to create an impactful logo to effectively reach your target group.
