The value of using good design for your business

First impressions are everything, a good design makes you look good and allows you to make good first impressions. We know well that a bad first impression is not easy to change, that is why a good design is not only directly related to the success we will have, but it is also linked to the trust we generate in those who see us.

There are many factors that affect good design in business, yet many people ignore the importance of good design for their campaign, project or business. That is why I want to share with you 3 main reasons why good design is important.

1. It helps you stand out: 
We must know that there will always be many options. However, it is important to keep in mind that the design you choose to represent your brand, campaign or whatever you want to communicate, can differentiate you from your competition, either negatively or positively. Good design stands out in the minds of those who make decisions and can influence their choices; many times these choices are made consciously or even unconsciously and impulsively. By nature, people like to associate with things that look good and things that make them feel good. By investing in quality design, you will be significantly increasing the ability of your brand or message to stand out in the minds of those you want to reach.

2. Give consistency to the brand: 
Consistency is vital when it comes to creating a good brand. In fact, having an inconsistent brand is a very serious mistake that could ruin your business or message. Can you imagine that one day Google changed its colors for just one? Or that the McDonald’s logo was purple instead of yellow and red? It would be too strange, and that is because these brands already have a pattern in terms of design that identifies them anywhere in the world. This is because a brand links the customer with emotions. When a brand is inconsistent, it appears chaotic and disorganized. People do not want to get involved with disorganized brands because there is no way they can trust such a company. The design will tell the client without words if you are worth trusting as a professional.

3. You make money: 
By ensuring you have a good design you will increase the value of your company, you will boost sales and this will put your company in a better financial situation. By generating trust, a solid first impression is also generated, this allows us to establish relationships with customers and even run successful campaigns, a good design helps your business be much more profitable.

In order to have a good design, it is a good idea to start by creating a style guide or "Brand-book", this will ensure consistency in everything you apply to your brand. This also makes things easier when there are multiple designers handling different promotional materials or marketing material.

Good design plays such an important role in creating solid marketing strategies. It is time to innovate, start being creative and let a good design bring success to your brand.
